DESCRIPTION:SETU Waterford is looking forward to the Science Careers Day, to be held at the SETU Arena on Friday, 14 March 2025. The recipient of the 2025 Una McDermott Award for Contribution to Science will be announced, and will address final-year students from our full portfolio of science programmes, including:\n\nAgriculture\nAgricultural Science\nFood Science with Business/Food Science and Innovation\nMolecular Biology with Biopharmaceutical Science\nPharmaceutical Science\nPhysics for Modern Technology\nHorticulture\nForestry\n\nThese students are currently engaged in the final year of an ordinary (three-year, Level 7) or honours (four-year, Level 8) degree and will be available for work in June 2025.\nThis is an ideal opportunity for employers to engage directly with highly-skilled individuals who have been trained to meet the demands of modern industry. The majority of the morning will be devoted to a networking event where employers can meet students and discuss career opportunities.
