Tickets are required to enter the competition area and attend grooming demonstrations and seminars.\nEvent Details\nDates: Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th October 2026\nVenue: SETU Arena, Waterford\nEvent: Madra Mania 2026\nWho can attend: The event is open to everyone, with professional groomers, students and those working within the pet industry particularly encouraged to attend.\nTickets\nTickets can be purchased in advance, with a range of ticket options available depending on whether you wish to attend seminars, demonstrations or watch the grooming competitions.\nTickets can also be purchased at the event; however, advance booking is recommended to access the full range of ticket options and associated benefits.\nCompetition entries must be pre-booked and cannot be accepted on the day.\nFollowing purchase, attendees will receive an e-ticket with a scannable QR code. This will be scanned on arrival, where attendees will receive a wristband for access throughout the event.\nFrequently Asked Questions\nCan I bring my dog?\nOnly dogs participating in competitions, demonstrations or talks can attend the event. Guide dogs and registered assistance dogs are welcome.\nCan I pay by card?\nYes. The booking system accepts card payments, and tickets can also be purchased during the event.\nCan I access the venue early?\nFor competitors, access is generally available at least 30 minutes before dogs are required on the table for pre-judging. Further timings will be confirmed by the organisers.\nCan competitors drop equipment off on Friday?\nYes. Competitors are generally welcome to drop off bulky equipment such as tables and crates while the venue is being set up on Friday. A suitable drop-off time will be announced closer to the event.\nCan equipment be left overnight?\nEquipment may be left onsite at the owner’s discretion. The IPDGA and SETU Arena cannot accept responsibility for items left at the venue. Any equipment left overnight must be stored safely and must not cause an obstruction or hazard.\nWill blade and scissor sharpening be available?\nSharpening services are generally available during the October event, but attendees are advised to check directly with their preferred sharpening provider in advance.\nIs there a spectator ticket?\nYes. Spectator tickets are available for those who simply want to watch the grooming competitions.\nAre student rates available?\nYes. Student rates are available for tutors making group bookings.\nAre Certificates of Attendance available?\nCertificates of Attendance may be available for attendees who pre-book. The attendee’s name should be supplied when purchasing the ticket.\n
