At SETU Arena, we are committed to minimising our environmental footprint and maximising our positive impact on the planet. Through a series of initiatives and collaborations, we have multiple sustainable practices.

Reducing Chemical Usage
A smarter choice in reducing chemicals by a near zero approach. By eliminating harmful sprays, we’ve welcomed back natural life to our premises, including ducks swimming proudly in our stream.
Tree Planting and Biodiversity
Over 1,400 trees have already been planted on-site along with bug corridors between them to support small invertebrates. Partnering with local schools and organisations, we offer a space for them to plant trees on our campus. We aim to pant 5,000 trees by 2026.
Promoting Wildlife Habitats
We’ve installed bug hotels to shelter insects and small creatures, contributing to a healthy ecosystem. Our air pollution recorder and weather stick help monitor environmental conditions, guiding our sustainability efforts.

Here at the SETU Arena we are committed to responsible energy consumption and practice energy efficiency throughout the building.
Recycling and Waste Management
Comprehensive recycling programs ensure materials like paper, plastic, glass, and organic waste are diverted from landfills. From reusable dishware to sustainable packaging to the new DRS system, we’re committed to managing our impact on the environment.
Reusing Coffee Grounds
Take home our free used coffee grounds for gardening, composting, or pest repellent. This eco-friendly initiative promotes sustainability. Enjoy your coffee and support a greener future!
Reusable Coffee Cups
We’re committed to reducing single-use waste with our reusable coffee cups. These eco-friendly cups are designed to be used over and over again. Customers can purchase a reusable cup or bring their own, and receive a discount on their coffee.
Reduction in Paper Usage
We’ve significantly reduced our paper usage by transitioning to digital forms. By moving our administrative processes online, we have not only streamlined operations but also minimized our environmental impact.
Local Food Sourcing
Our aim is to build a legacy that food served on Campus is produced and sourced locally, affordable for our community and enriched by strong sustainable values.
