Madra Mania, Ireland’s largest dog grooming event for professional pet stylists, is coming to SETU Arena on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October 2026.
The annual two-day event brings together professional groomers, industry experts and pet professionals from across Ireland for a packed weekend of grooming demonstrations, seminars, competitions and shopping.

Visitors can enjoy FREE access to the Shopping Village, featuring more than 20 trade stands. Tickets are required to enter the competition area and attend grooming demonstrations and seminars.

Tickets
Tickets can be purchased in advance, with a range of ticket options available depending on whether you wish to attend seminars, demonstrations or watch the grooming competitions.
Tickets can also be purchased at the event; however, advance booking is recommended to access the full range of ticket options and associated benefits.
Competition entries must be pre-booked and cannot be accepted on the day.
Following purchase, attendees will receive an e-ticket with a scannable QR code. This will be scanned on arrival, where attendees will receive a wristband for access throughout the event.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my dog?
Only dogs participating in competitions, demonstrations or talks can attend the event. Guide dogs and registered assistance dogs are welcome.
Can I pay by card?
Yes. The booking system accepts card payments, and tickets can also be purchased during the event.
Can I access the venue early?
For competitors, access is generally available at least 30 minutes before dogs are required on the table for pre-judging. Further timings will be confirmed by the organisers.
Can competitors drop equipment off on Friday?
Yes. Competitors are generally welcome to drop off bulky equipment such as tables and crates while the venue is being set up on Friday. A suitable drop-off time will be announced closer to the event.
Can equipment be left overnight?
Equipment may be left onsite at the owner’s discretion. The IPDGA and SETU Arena cannot accept responsibility for items left at the venue. Any equipment left overnight must be stored safely and must not cause an obstruction or hazard.
Will blade and scissor sharpening be available?
Sharpening services are generally available during the October event, but attendees are advised to check directly with their preferred sharpening provider in advance.
Is there a spectator ticket?
Yes. Spectator tickets are available for those who simply want to watch the grooming competitions.
Are student rates available?
Yes. Student rates are available for tutors making group bookings.
Are Certificates of Attendance available?
Certificates of Attendance may be available for attendees who pre-book. The attendee’s name should be supplied when purchasing the ticket.
