SETU Waterford Science Careers Day
SETU Waterford is looking forward to the Science Careers Day, to be held at the SETU Arena on Friday, 22 March 2024. We are delighted this year to welcome Louise Grubb from Trivium Vet and Q1 Scientific as the recipient of the 2024 Una McDermott Award for Contribution to Science and our keynote speaker. Louise has significantly contributed to the scientific ecosystem of companies that continues to grow in the South East and which provide opportunities for our SETU graduates to find world class jobs. She will be addressing final-year students from our full portfolio of science programmes, including:
- Agriculture
- Agricultural Science
- Food Science with Business/Food Science and Innovation
- Molecular Biology with Biopharmaceutical Science
- Pharmaceutical Science
- Physics for Modern Technology
- Horticulture
- Forestry
These students are currently engaged in the final year of an ordinary (three-year, Level 7) or honours (four-year, Level 8) degree and will be available for work in June 2024.
This is an ideal opportunity for employers to engage directly with highly-skilled individuals who have been trained to meet the demands of modern industry.
