Sunny South East Cycle 2026 at SETU Arena
SETU Arena is delighted to welcome the Sunny South East Cycle 2026 on Sunday, 23 August, in aid of Down Syndrome Waterford & South Kilkenny.
Starting and finishing at SETU Arena, the event will bring cyclists together for a fantastic day on the roads of the Sunny South East, with three routes available to suit different ages and abilities.
Choose Your Route
Family Route – 12KM
A family-friendly option for those looking to enjoy a shorter cycle together.
80KM Route
A longer challenge with a refreshment stop at Durrow Car Park at approximately the 35KM mark.
125KM Route
The longest route of the day, with a refreshment stop at Dungarvan Rugby Club at approximately the 75KM mark.
The 80KM and 125KM routes will have a rolling start from 9:00am, with the Family Route departing once these groups have left SETU Arena.
Marshals, a Bike Doctor and First Aid will be in attendance throughout the event. All participants should collect their wristband at check-in on the morning of the cycle. Wristbands will display emergency contact details and will also be required to receive refreshments at the designated stops.
Cycling for a Great Cause
The Sunny South East Cycle is held in aid of Down Syndrome Waterford & South Kilkenny, with funds raised supporting children, teenagers and adults within the local branch.
Funds help provide vital services and opportunities including social activities, educational supports, life skills programmes, family events and advocacy.
